Welcome to the official website of the Puget Sound Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars!
We’re proud to be a vibrant Veterans Service Organization, founded at the close of World War I and open to veterans of all ranks and services. Every year, fueled by a lasting commitment to uplift youth, strengthen our community, and honor our nation, the Puget Sound chapter rallies around two flagship events: Washington State Patriotic Day and the Northwest Youth Leadership Conference—both dedicated to inspiring future leaders and fostering patriotism.
But our impact doesn’t stop there. We’re active year-round, by providing and supporting activities that promote and encourage responsible citizenship, patriotism, youth leadership, military and public service, veteran support, and strong national security. Our outreach programs involve hosting patriotic education and ceremonies, recognizing excellence in Senior and Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets, sponsoring activities and speakers involving national and homeland security issues, honoring law and order professionals, and sponsoring and restoring monuments and memorials.
Our members gather regularly for monthly meetings, social events, and hands-on community service, we build camaraderie and make a difference—one project at a time. Guided by our motto, “It is nobler to serve than to be served,” we invite you to explore our website to learn more about our work and discover how you can get involved. Together, let’s serve with pride and purpose!
